In the heart of Plaza Midwood—one of Charlotte’s most dynamic, walkable neighborhoods—a new chapter is unfolding along Pecan Street. Novas 2.0, a thoughtfully scaled, two-story retail and office building, is set to break ground soon. Designed as a sibling to the original Nova’s Corner development just down the block, this project continues a conversation between architecture, community, and street life.

At approximately 5,000 square feet, Novas 2.0 may be compact, but it’s built with intention. A richly detailed brick façade anchors the corner, creating a strong urban edge that honors the rhythm of Pecan Street. Subtle articulation and refined masonry elevate the building’s presence without overwhelming the scale of its surroundings—a design strategy that reflects our belief in form that follows context.

This project isn’t just about architecture—it’s about placemaking. Inside, we’ve created flexible spaces for local businesses to thrive. Coffee shops, wellness studios, and creative offices will all find a home here, helping turn this corner into a vibrant destination for gathering, working, and daily life.

For us, Novas 2.0 represents more than just square footage—it’s about stitching into the fabric of an already beloved neighborhood. We’re excited to watch this space grow into its own identity, while staying rooted in the spirit of Plaza.

Construction begins soon—stay tuned for more.
